Questions
- How do I bring my work into Parlor?
- In Procreate, share a canvas, brush set, or palette and choose Parlor in the share sheet. New arrivals wait in Parlor’s inbox so you can review their tags.
- Does Parlor look at my canvases?
- Your canvas goes into Parlor whole, hidden layers included, and nothing in it leaves your iPad. Tag suggestions look only at the preview Procreate shows in its gallery, the same picture you see there, never at the layers inside.
- Does Parlor change my files?
- No. Your file comes back exactly as it went in, byte for byte. When you send a set of brushes back to Procreate, the brushes inside are the exact files that arrived; only the set itself is new, and Procreate adds it beside the sets you already have.
- Do I need an account or an internet connection?
- There’s nothing to sign up for. Parlor uses the iCloud account already on your iPad. It works offline too; anything stored only in iCloud downloads the next time you’re connected.
- What if I change a piece after it’s in Parlor?
- Share it in again. Parlor keeps it as a new version of the same artwork, with the earlier one still there.
- Where is my work stored?
- On your iPad and in your own iCloud account. Nothing is sent to us. See the privacy policy.
- How do I free up space on my iPad?
- Parlor keeps your full library in iCloud, so pieces you haven’t opened in a while don’t need to take up space on your iPad. They download again when you open them; a large canvas takes as long as your connection allows.
- What happens when I get a new iPad?
- Sign in to the same iCloud account and open Parlor. Your library is there, tags included.
- How do I get everything out?
- You can export any single item, or export your whole library as ordinary files you can open without Parlor, along with one file,
manifest.json, that lists their names and tags. - What do I need to run Parlor?
- An iPad with iPadOS 26 or later. Your library in iCloud counts toward your iCloud storage.
